This installation guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing the ambient reading light on BMW G-Series vehicles.
The ambient reading light is designed to synchronize with the original BMW ambient lighting system. Both color and brightness can be adjusted directly through the factory menu for a seamless OEM-style experience.

1, Open the SOS cover
2, Remove the screws
3, Remove the reading light
4, Install our reading ambient lighting
5, Lead the extension cable to the footwell light position
6, Plug in the extension cord
7, Remove the footwell lamp guard plate
8,For BMW M2, 3/4/5/6/7 Series and X3/X4/X5/X6/X7, the two marked points must be removed.
(The new 5 Series, new 7 Series, and new X3 do NOT require removal.)
9, Unplug the footwell light and connect it to the reading light board
10, After the transfer is completed, perform restoration
