Audi A8 Q7 Q8 Motorized Lifiting Speaker Installaion Tutorial
This step-by-step installation guide shows you how to install the motorized lifting speaker on
Audi A8, Audi Q7, and Audi Q8 models. The tutorial covers speaker placement, wiring connections, OEM-style upgrade and a premium factory-finish interior.
Installation Precautions for Motorized Lift Tweeters
- Always disconnect the vehicle power before starting the installation.
- Installation requires drilling holes in the original vehicle trim panel.
- The product includes a decorative outer ring that seamlessly integrates with the cover plate.
- When drilling, start with small holes and gradually increase the size to avoid over-cutting.
- If gaps appear after installation, loosen the tweeter fixing screws and adjust by moving it back and forth or left and right.

- 1. Remove the left and right A-pillar trim panels.

- 2. Remove the upper cover plate on the left side of the dashboard.

- 3. Remove the left and right tweeter covers.

- 4. Remove the screws from the tweeter cover.

- 5. After removing the screws on the left and right sides of the cover plate, pry up the cover plate.

- 6. Remove the original car speaker and replace it with our lift tweeter.

- 7. The lamp holder wire extends from left to right along the inside of the dashboard.

- 8. Cut off the power supply,Connect the constant power, negative, and ACC terminals according to the cable label. The fuse box is located in front of the driver’s side door sill as shown in the picture below

- 9. Lighting, equipped with a single-module LIN cable that plugs into the middle 28-pin27-pin connector of the BCM module

- 10. Lights, dual-module CAN bus, BCM module right side large connector, CAN purple connect to 40 pins, CAN white – connect to 41 pins

- 11. When making holes in the tweeter cover, expand outwards from the inside. Do not cut a large amount at once to avoid overcutting.

- 12. After drilling the hole, insert the decorative outer ring, and then the cover plate can be reset.
