Installation Instructions: How to Install Mercedes C Class W205 Electric Tail Gate Lift

This installation instructions will show you how to install the a electric tail gate lift system for Mercedes C Class W205, so we can open the trunk automatically and smoothly via a button or key.

1, Diagram for reference

2, Remove the plastic buckle(position as picture show) and take out the decoration board

3, Remove the plastic buckle(position as picture show) and take out the decoration board

4, Pull out this plastic board

5, Take out the storage box

6, Find the harness of yellow socket from rear trunk computer board, product red signal cable connects to brown red cable, product yellow signal cable connects to brown cable

7, Remove the buckle as the red arrow and circle show and take out the right side decoration board, pull out the small light socket

8, Remove the spring on right side of trunk

9, Remove the spring buckle and install the front bracket

10, Install the rear bracket

11, Install the product pole

12, Spacer fixed on original buckle, use small drill to fix the it to the position as arrow show, then use 9.5 twist drill to expand hole

13, Install the product suction lock then fix the cord

14, Suction motor fix to this position

Note: After installation, need to close and open the trunk manually one time then the auto trunk will start to work.

Remote Key instructions:
Open: long press trunk button on key
Close: short press trunk button on key

Driver cabin button instructions:
Open: pull the trunk button in cabin one time
Close: pull the trunk button in cabin one time
